A fine porcelain casserole dish with a lid from the popular Evesham Gold collection by Royal Worcester. It has a classic design of fruit, wheat and asparagus set against the white porcelain background with gold detailing on the edges and handles. This collection will still today make for a beautifully set table especially in the autumn and winter seasons.
Condition: There are some tiny marks on the lid underside, and the inside edge of the dish has some rough spots, otherwise it is in very good vintage condition.
Dimensions: Dish without the lid 21.5cm across the top diameter and 5.5cm high. Dish with the lid 23cm across from handle to handle and 8cm high to the top of the lid's handle.
History: From my research I can find that the Evesham Gold collection was introduced in 1961 and was made up until 2015. Due to the backstamp on this dish I believe it be manufactured before 1988.
