An elegant vintage bowl and plate set by the MacBeth-Evans Glass Company in the "American Sweetheart" pattern. The set has the distinctive intricate floral design set against the translucent white Monax glass and with a gold trim on the plates. They will make a lovely addition to a festive table setting and celebrations.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
Dimensions: Bowl: 27x21cm across the length/width and 6.5cm high. Plates: 16cm across the diameter.
History: From my research I believe this set was manufactured sometime between 1930-1936 by the Macbeth-Evans Glass Company based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When held up to the light they have a slightly bluish hue showing it to be the Monax glass, and the pieces highly sought after by collectors.
