Sugar bowls from the vintage and popular Eternal Beau collection by Johnson Brothers. They have an elegant design of delicate pink flowers and green stalks entwined along a pink bow, and like many of the pieces in the collection have a unique octagonal shape with angular sides. There are four sugar bowls available in these varieties and the price shown is for one.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. One has a small brown mark on the base but you can't see it when in use.
Dimensions: 10.5cm across the diameter and 7cm high.
History: From my research I can find that the Eternal Beau collection was introduced in 1981, it was designed by Sarina Mascheroni, and was a part of the Johnson Brothers Heritage range of stoneware china. It was a favourited set due to it's traditional look, but also being able to hold up to daily use, and will still today make for a beautifully set table for any festive occasion.
Variety: There are two different maker's marks with separate quantities of bowls for each, the pictures show the details. Please choose the variety and quantity of the following when making your purchase:
- 3 bowls available with the Made in England White Base mark
- 1 bowl available with the Made in England Since 1883 mark
